Technical changes to SBB Businesstravel.
VAT invoices are now available online.
From 1 January 2013, VAT invoices for services purchased through SBB Businesstravel will no longer be sent by post. Instead, you can easily access these electronically in the SBB Businessmanager. Invoices for all quarters of 2012 are due to be available from 10 January 2013.
You will receive a notification in the Businessmanager task list as soon as the invoices are ready. The following quick guide shows you how easy it will be to view VAT invoices in the future:
- Log in to SBB Businessmanager at
sbb.ch/en/businessmanager. - Select "VAT" in the left-hand navigation.
- Available invoices will be shown by account.
Buy supersaver tickets to Austria in the SBB Ticket Shop Business.
From end of January, you can purchase supersaver tickets to Austria in the SBB Ticket Shop Business. With a supersaver ticket Europe such as this, you can travel from all stations in Switzerland to Austria and the reverse.
You can obtain supersaver tickets for 1st and 2nd class, they are limited in number and they are only available for single journeys. Should you require a return ticket, please purchase a separate supersaver ticket for the return journey. We also recommend that you book your seats. You can reserve these online in the SBB Ticket Shop Business when buying the ticket (Step 4 – «Reservations»). Please note that a supersaver ticket is only valid on the selected train. It is invalidated if you do not board this train. Supersaver tickets do not entitle you to any discount.
