You can issue individual promotional codes to specific people or give away codes to a wide audience in advertising campaigns via flyers, posters, etc. Promotional codes can be redeemed in the SBB Ticket Shop and via SBB Mobile for private and business customers, and you can decide whether they are valid for the entire range or just for certain product groups.
Additional features:
- Individual promotional codes are ten-digit codes made up of letters and numbers; one code per person; can be redeemed only once
- General promotional codes consist of a code word of your choice (e.g. “company party”); a limit on numbers may be set; codes can be redeemed until the limit is reached
- Only the services actually used are charged for; fortnightly invoicing
- Codes can be redeemed at the SBB Ticket Shop and SBB Ticket Shop Business or via SBB Mobile and SBB Mobile Business

Redeem online
1. Enter promotional code.
To benefit from a promotionalcode during an online purchasing transaction, please enter the code in thehomepage of the SBB Ticket Shop or SBB Ticket Shop Business, then click «Next».
2. Select offer.
According to the type of promotion, you will now be shown a selection of offers, which you can obtain at a reduced price. Choose one of the offers and enter the necessary information.
3. Benefit.
The price reduction will be displayed to you in the shopping cart and automatically deducted from the purchase price. Now conclude your purchase transaction as usual.
Your promotional code is not functioning? This could be due to one of the following reasons:
- You have entered a wrong code. Please check your promotional code and enter it once again.
- The quota of promotional codes has been over-subscribed, or the promotion has expired. The promotional code can therefore no longer be used.
Redeem via SBB Mobile Business
1. Enter promotional code.
To redeem a promotional code, go via SBB Mobile or SBB Mobile Business to the «Ticket» section and click «Redeem promotional code».
2. Select offer.
You will now proceed to the selection of offers. According to the type of promotion, you will now receive a selection of offers, which you can obtain at a reduced price. Choose one of the offers and enter the necessary information.
3. Benefit.
The price reduction will be displayed to you in the shopping cart and automatically deducted from the purchase price. Now conclude your purchase transaction as usual.
