Swisscom and SBB have set up a total of 75 coaches in 1st class with business zones so that you can work online on the train. Mobile broadband Internet access is also available at many stations.
Use your journey with SBB to surf the Internet, send e-mails or access your company's own Intranet. You can benefit from all the advantages of the Internet and mobile working. Your journey with SBB becomes a mobile workspace and you can work just as efficiently as you can in the office.
Trains with mobile broadband access operate on the following routes:
- Basel SBB – Zurich Main Station – Chur
- Geneva Airport – Bern – Zurich Main Station – St. Gallen
- Basel SBB – Bern – Interlaken Ost / Brig
- Lucerne – Zurich Airport
- Geneva Airport – Lausanne – Bern – Zofingen – Lucerne
- Romanshorn – Zurich Main Station – Bern –Interlaken Ost / Brig
Payment options.
- Via your mobile phone bill from Swisscom.
- Through your telephone bill if you are a Swisscom DSL customer.
- Using your credit card.
- With your Value Card (also available in Swisscom shops).

This is how it works.
You can usually simply open your browser. This searches automatically for the public wireless LAN landing page. If this does not appear automatically, enter www.pwlan.ch.
If there is still no connection, check the following settings on your notebook. You will have to select the mobile network first depending on the device and operating system:
