Zug/Lucerne S-Bahn: With a connection to the Seetaler in the heart of Switzerland.
For the majority of train users, the introduction of the Zug S-Bahn clearly improves transportation opportunities: more connections and access points, a coordinated timetable between train and bus, as well as shorter travel times are all reasons for this development. Zug’s city railway system is also used intensively – by commuting employees, school children, students and families with children.
In Lucerne, commuters can connect to the Lucerne Seetaler that travels through the interior to Lenzburg. The Seetaler’s loving nickname – “The Pyjama Express” – shows the emotional tie this daily method of transport has to the population.
