When are our rail passengers punctual? Our passengers are punctual when they reach their connecting train at the transfer station and arrive at their destination within 3 minutes of schedule. This means, we have the strictest measurement criteria in Europe.

Punctuality – an overview.

Nine of ten of our customers reach their destination on time. This means that 97.5% of all connections on the rail network are held.

Factors influencing punctuality.
Each day, around 951,000 passengers travel on the densest rail network in Europe. Swiss Railways is making the highest effort to further reduce the impact of infrastructure problems and vehicle faults, and to ensure that operations run smoothly.
