The Ee 922 is based on one of the Stadler Winterthur AG range of vehicles developed for meeting requirements in shunting and cargo-conveyance. It distinguishes itself through its compact design, high tractive power & performance as well as the optimal visibility and working conditions for its operators. It is economical in operation, has long maintenance intervals and thanks to the electric drive has great longevity.

The locomotive is equipped with modern lightweight vehicle technology and ready for new train safety systems. And due to its high maximum speed of 100 km/h, the Ee 922 cannot only be used for shunting but also for line service.
