If another person aged more than 16 years travels with the young person, there is the 1-day travelpass for children, which costs CHF 15 in 2nd class and CHF 30 in 1st class. Enjoy your freedom and buy your Junior travelcard or Grandchild travelcard now.

The regular-interval timetable.

Thanks to the extensive public transport networks, the unique high traffic frequency, and departure and arrival times that are perfectly coordinated, you can reach almost any destination in Switzerland without long waiting times. The regular-interval timetable enables connections between the major centres every half hour, and towns and regions once every hour. This makes SBB and public transport the ideal means of travel for trips of every kind.

Your playground on wheels: Ticki Park family coach.

The first ones are already under way – and by mid-2013 we will have fitted all double-deck long-distance InterCity trains with the new Ticki Park family coaches. Your little ones will be able to let off steam in an imaginative jungle world and make the journey more enjoyable with the exciting “Jungle Hunt” and “The Snake Game” board games. The play figures for this are in the SBB Restaurant, SBB Bistro and/or at the SBB Minibar.

Family coaches – marked FA on the timetable – are located at the beginning or end of the train configuration. In the upper deck you will find the play area and in the lower deck the storage areas for prams and bikes.
