The permanent exhibitions “History of Switzerland” and “Collections Gallery” give you a comprehensive insight into Swiss history, displaying the objects in the National Museum’s collection, with an emphasis on works of handicraft in Switzerland. In “Swiss homes & furnishings” you will come across 20th century furniture in the historical rooms of the National Museum. And one of the absolute highlights is the Armoury Tower, where you can discover various types of weapon, uniforms and equipment in their historical setting.
