Epesses nouveau en fête.

Basler Fasnacht.

At the “Epesses nouveau en fête” wine festival on 5 May 2012, you will have the chance to taste wines of the 2011 vintage from the winegrowing region of Lavaux in the Swiss canton of Vaud.

Come and join a wine tasting session where you get to decant your own Pot Vaudois using traditional methods – a 140 cl bottle from 1822 with collectible labels. You can then enjoy a winegrower’s feast for lunch, with a choice of three regional dishes. You will also be given a piece of cheese, a Vaud sausage, some traditional winemaker’s bread, a bottle of water and a commemorative glass for tasting the wine, as well as a fabric bag to take all these souvenirs home with you.
