National Festival of Herens Cattle.
Cows are the stars of the show in Aproz on 5 and 6 May 2012 – at the National Festival of Herens Cattle. Experience cow-fighting, entertainment and culinary delights in an exciting folksy atmosphere.
Alongside the traditional fights between Herens cows, this year’s festival also features the first international “Reines de l’Espace Mont-Blanc” (“Queens of the Mont Blanc Region”) contest, involving cows from the Aosta Valley, Savoy and Upper Savoy as well as from Valais. Furthermore, local specialities will be available from numerous stands around the arena for you to taste throughout the weekend.
