Giant slalom and men’s slalom in Adelboden: live at “Chuenisbärgli” – be there when the racers master the classic and difficult course.

The giant slalom and the men’s slalom in Adelboden have been part of the World Cup calendar each year since the FIS Ski World Cup was created in 1967. The traditional giant slalom on Saturday is followed by the no less spectacular Sunday slalom on the steepest final slope. This demands everything of the racers and as a spectator you can view right up close and live. On two days of the year, the “Chuenisbärgli” becomes a true cauldron of activity. Thousands of enthusiastic ski sport fans from Switzerland and the whole world mark the atmosphere along the course, at the finishing line at Chäla and in the World Cup village.

Of interest.

There are several variants available for World Cup, European Cup and FIS races for Adelboden’s World Cup mountain, “Chuenisbärgli”. The Adelboden giant slalom on “Chuenisbärgli” is one of the most classic and difficult in the world. As well as holding the men’s FIS World Cup races Adelboden is also committed to promoting talent and is regularly the venue for the European Cup, FIS and youth races. Besides Kitzbühel and Wengen (no giant slaloms) it is the only venue that has been placed on the World Cup calendar each year since the FIS Ski World Cup was created in 1967.

  • To plan your travel: timetable
  • Transfer: from Frutigen station, special buses have been provided for you, which take you direct to the finishing area in Adelboden. Important: the special buses are only included in the combined offer price on race days. If you arrive on the Friday you pay for the special bus additionally sur place.

  • Groups: At the group or ticket counter of your station, you can also obtain individual offers for groups and company events.
