Right in the heart of the Alps, from Klosterdorf Disentis to Matterhorn Zermatt, the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn can provide exclusive rail journeys in historic Belle Epoque rolling stock. The «Premier Glacier Express» car has been painstakingly restored and features some exquisite saloon compartments. Not quite so refined, but just as much fun is a ride in the «Belle Epoque» car or «Steam Pub». And there are fantastic views to be had from the «Open Air» car in summer! Here, you can feel the wind wafting through your hair and drink the fragrant smells of the larch forests and flowering meadows rolling by.
