Blatten–Belalp scooter bike fun.
Hiking and riding pleasure near the Aletsch Glacier: Head out on an invigorating hike with your group through the scenic Aletsch region before riding back down toward the valley on your scooter bike.
From Blatten, the cable car will take you up to car-free Belalp, which makes an ideal starting point for hikes and mountain tours in the Aletsch region. For instance, cross the 12-metre Riederalp–Belalp suspension bridge, embark on the Nessel-Foggenhorn circuit hike or scale the 3,021-metre Sparrhorn with a view of the Aletsch Glacier. The crowning highlight of your excursion is the 7-kilometre ride back down to Blatten by scooter bike.

Attractions.
- From 7 July to 5 August 2012, the chairlift takes passengers up to the Hohbiel. From here you’ll reach the Sparrhorn in only one hour, where a breathtaking panorama awaits you featuring 17 four-thousand-metre peaks and the Great Aletsch Glacier.
- During the last weekend in August, Belalp hosts the Sheepherders Weekend when some 1,000 sheep are driven down from Aletsch back to Belalp.
