Do a good deed at the station It couldn't be easier. You can now use the SBB ticket machines to make a donation to the Swiss Red Cross (SRC) and SOS Children's Villages - 24 hours a day, seven days a week. 

At the SBB ticket machines, select "Other tickets /offers", followed by "Make a donation", the desired charity, and then you can make a donation using cash, credit/debit card or Reka Checks. You can choose the amount you donate from a selection and will receive a donation receipt, which you can attach to your tax declaration. 

There are thousands of children and adults living in hardship who need your support. Thanks to the excellent work of these two charities, your money is used where it is desperately needed. So make a donation when you're next at the station. Thank you in advance for your support!

For 145 years, the Swiss Red Cross (SRC) has been campaigning in the areas of health, integration and rescue. Furthermore, the SRC has been active for over 50 years in around 25 countries, mostly in the world's poorest regions. It provides humanitarian aid and development assistance following wars and disasters. In the long term, it promotes health as a prerequisite for decent living conditions.

Both charities approached SBB to enquire whether it would be possible for donations to be made using SBB ticket machines. SBB supports this request and has started a one-year pilot project, offering this service to our two new partners at cost price.
