Cycle to the station then hop on the train. You will find bicycle parking spaces at many of Switzerland’s train stations, while some even have staffed cycle parks.

Travel by bike or motorbike to the station and hop on a train. More than 89,000 parking spaces are available for bicycles at Swiss stations. Many thousands more will be created at several stations by 2018. These spaces are free of charge. Simply park your bike and continue your journey by train.

If you want to protect your bike against bad weather, theft or vandalism, you can leave it in a staffed cycle park.

Staffed cycle parks can be found in Aarau, Baden, Basel, Bern, Biel/Bienne, Bülach, Burgdorf, Chur, Coppet, Delémont, Frauenfeld, Geneva, Glattbrugg, Interlaken, Langenthal, Lausanne, Liestal, Lucerne, Lyss, Neuchâtel, Olten, Rapperswil Jona, Schaffhausen, Solothurn, St. Gallen, Thun, Uster, Vevey, Wädenswil, Wetzikon, Winterthur, Yverdon and Zurich.

Some cycle parks provide repairs or even sell helmets, lights and other accessories.
