Single journey tickets and points cards are available for purchase at the loading ramp in Brig. The sale process is as follows:
- In the direction Brig—Iselle di Trasquera (I): before loading in Brig
- In the direction Iselle di Trasquera (I)—Brig: after unloading in Brig.
You can also purchase points cards at the SBB ticket counter at Brig railway station.

SBB transport insurance services.
Damage to the vehicle incurred during the journey through the Simplon tunnel are cover by insurance. Insurance cover comes into effect from the car-loading platform and ceases at the unloading platform at the other end. The general insurance conditions are available for inspection at Brig loadingstation.
Responsibility.
- The SBB is not responsible for damage caused by drivers themselves or by third parties
- In accordance with articles 27 and 43 of the Federal Act for passengers transport and article 76 of the corresponding ordinance, the responsibility of SBB is restricted to damage incurred by the motor vehicles being transported
- Please notify any damage to the car-carrying train personnel at the loading or unloading station.
- Keep your transportation documents with you throughout the journey.
- Damage that is subsequently discovered should be notified in writing to the following address:

Swiss customs regulations.
Entry into Switzerland is only permitted with valid travel documents recognised in Switzerland.
There are no formal requirements for bringing personal effects and goods within the allowed limits into the country. Goods in tourist traffic outside the allowed limits must be declared in writing via the declaration boxes available in Brig and Iselle di Trasquera (I). The declaration boxes contain information on the customs clearance process (self-declaration in writing) and a supply of forms.
Please note that the importation of certain goods is subject to bans, restrictions and regulations. This applies in particular to cultural assets, arms, ammunition, ships, live animals and endangered plants and animals. For customs reasons, the transport of merchandise of any kind is not permitted in the car-carrying trains from and to Iselle di Trasquera (I).
Caravans and mobile homes with a maximum allowed weight in excess of 3.5 t are only permitted with valid proof of payment of the flat-rate heavy vehicle charge (pauschale Schwerverkehrsabgabe – PSVA).
Vans, HGVs and similar vehicles, whether empty or laden, with a maximum allowed weight in excess of 3.5 t are not permitted for loading on the Brig-Iselle-Brig route.
