Family zone. Greater comfort for families on the move.

Family zone

The family zone – more room for pushchairs.

To make travelling on single-deck InterCity (IC, and ICN tilting trains) a more comfortable experience for passengers with pushchairs, family zones are being introduced in 2nd class on these services. While the primary goal of these zones is to provide space for pushchairs, families can relax here knowing that a somewhat higher level of noise will be tolerated than in other parts of the train.

Ticki Park game tables on InterCity tilting trains (ICN).

While space limitations preclude any designated play areas on board InterCity (ICN) tilting trains of the sort found in our family coaches, our ICN routes nevertheless also offer you the exciting board games “Jungle Hunt“ and “The Snake Game“, which you can play with your children at the game boards specially provided on board. Game pieces are available from our on-board SBB Restaurant and/or SBB Bistro, or from the SBB Minibar.
