Inter-regional travelcard: Commuting made easy.

Commuting is even easier with the inter-regional travelcard.

Inter-regional travelcards include the train journey as well as entitlement to travel on local transport services in the zone of the departure and/or destination point. Inter-regional travelcards are available for 1st and 2nd class for adults, and for 2nd class for young people until their 25th birthday. The period of validity is one month or twelve months.

The new commuter travelcard, the modular travelcard is now available in the Geneva–Rolle perimeter. It is anticipated that the modular travelcard will be rolled out throughout Switzerland in spring 2017. You can find further information on this from our page about the modular travelcard.

The zone-route-zone combination.

With this combination, certain fare network zones at the departure and destination points are included along with the route. You can therefore also use local transport services at both locations.

The route-zone combination.

With this combination, you can also integrate certain zones at the departure or destination points along with the route. You can therefore also use local transport services at either of the two locations.

Tip: If you buy your inter-regional travelcard for twelve months, you usually pay for only nine months. (N.B.: ten months between certain fare networks.)
