Standard tickets entitle you to travel on the route shown on the ticket. Standard tickets can be purchased on the Internet only as OnlineTickets, which are subject to special conditions.

1 Tickets for round trips are not available as OnlineTickets.
2 Half fare: for holders of Half-Fare travelcards, children from their 6th to their 16th birthday and children under 6 years travelling alone.
3 The accompanying person must have a valid ticket, be at least 12 years old and may then take up to four children with them free of charge. From 16 years of age, up to 8 children may travel with them.

Validity
Validity of tickets purchased at ticket offices or machines.
Standard tickets purchased at a ticket office or machine are valid for one day or ten days, depending on the distance of the journey they are intended for:

Validity of tickets purchased on the Internet (OnlineTickets).
The validity of ordinary tickets purchased on the Internet (available as OnlineTickets only) is different to the validity of standard tickets purchased at a ticket office or machine. In addition, customers have to specify their travel dates when purchasing standard tickets online. Subsequent changes or exchanges are not possible.
