Do you travel fairly frequently, but not regularly, on the same route? Then the multiple-journey ticket is the right product for you.

Multipack of tickets.

The multiple-journey ticket entitles you to six single journeys on the route selected. It is non-personal and therefore transferable. It can also be used for several passengers travelling together. It may be used in combination with the Junior travelcard.

Holders of the Half-Fare travelcard, or children under 16 years of age, receive a discount of 50% on the multiple-journey ticket.

Using multiple-journey tickets.

Different periods of validity apply to journeys using local or long-distance services (see imprint on ticket).

Local services: four hours from time of validation
Long-distance services: on the day of validation and up to 5.00 a.m. on the following day

If the period of validity expires during the journey, you may continue to use the multiple-journey ticket as follows:

  • Local services:
    for a direct and uninterrupted journey on the train you boarded before the period of validity expired
  • Long-distance services:
    Multiple-journey tickets are valid on the day of validation and can be used for a direct and uninterrupted journey provided the journey is taken before midnight.

You can buy the multiple-journey ticket online at SBB Ticket Shop or or by telephone via Rail Service on 0900 300 300 (CHF 1.19/min. on the Swiss fixed-line network). It will be sent to you by post.
