Secure a seat.
To make your train travel in Switzerland and Europe as comfortable as possible, you can reserve your seat before the journey begins.
This ensures you can make the best possible use of your time when travelling on business - be it to work or simply switch off. When travelling in some countries, reservations are obligatory or are automatically included in the ticket price.
Incidentally, you can also reserve your seat in the SBB Restaurant or dining car on many international connections.
You can reserve seats on board Swiss trains in the SBB Ticket Shop Business, with the SBB Mobile Business app or via the Businesstravel service centre (calls charged at local rate). It costs CHF 5.00 per seat and train to reserve a seat; the fee is payable again when you change trains.
