The MobileTicket takes the ticket office to you, wherever you may be. With SBB Mobile Business you can buy your tickets for travel within Switzerland using your smartphone. All you need is the SBB Mobile Business app, which can be downloaded free of charge from the iTunes App Store or Google Play. When you are on your way by public transport, you should present your ticket display plus an official ID document.

"From", "To" and "Via"
"Take me Home" function (displays current connections to the address saved in "Settings", "Take me Home address")
If you have stored the addresses of your telephone contacts, you can also access these without having to enter the entire address. The address is then inserted automatically

SBB Mobile Business range.
You can use the SBB Mobile Business app to purchase the following public transport tickets:
Standard tickets for journeys within Switzerland (incl. regional travel system tickets)
Various one-day travelpasses (9 o'clock travelpass, one-day travelpass for children/dogs/bikes)
Seat reservations for certain trains within Switzerland.
It is not possible to use the app to buy international tickets or travelcards. However, you can display tickets that you have bought through your account in the SBB Ticket Shop Business via SBB Mobile Business. This also applies to international tickets with the “Print at the workplace” option. Exceptions: international supersaver tickets, tickets for domestic traffic: standard fare/flexible fare/saver fare and tickets for the InterCity-Bus.
You can purchase MobileTickets for regional travel systems. The service is constantly being expanded.
Yes. A "Ticket for accompanying passengers" offers the option of purchasing the same ticket for a maximum of 8 additional passengers. The class and destinations cannot be changed. Please note that: when buying tickets for accompanying passengers you must travel together on the outward and return journeys. You can click on "Add other passengers" in the shopping basket. You will then be asked to enter the last name and first name of the additional person. The first MobileTicket in the shopping basket is automatically issued to the person who is logged into the SBB Mobile Business app. If you have a GA travelcard but would like to purchase a MobileTicket for a person travelling with you, select the "Change passenger" function.
Yes. You can buy a MobileTicket for your dog for half the price of a 2nd class ticket. The MobileTicket must be registered in the name of the passenger.
Yes, the SBB Mobile Business app does display tickets purchased online from the SBB Ticket Shop Business. All tickets are listed under “Tickets”, “Show tickets”. Click on “Update tickets” and enter your password.
Yes. For journeys within Switzerland you can reserve seats for up to five people using SBB Mobile Business if the train is marked with the letter R on the timetable. The MobileTicket must be registered in the name of a passenger.

You can reserve seats for international travel when you purchase your ticket at the SBB Ticket Shop Business.
Yes. The first time you try to buy a ticket, you will be redirected to the Ticket Shop Business in order to register. If you already have a log-in for the SBB Ticket Shop Business, you can use the same details. So all you have to do is install the app.
Registration gives you the following advantages:
Your details are saved and do not have to be re-entered when you next make a purchase.
You can look at your mobile orders at any time.
You can store your means of payment and set this as standard. This will then be used each time you shop via the SBB Mobile Business app. The means of payment can be modified at any time in the SBB Ticket Shop Business under "My account" – "Payment information".
You can also use your login at the SBB Ticket Shop Business.
You can request to be readvised of your user name or password online only at the SBB Ticket Shop Business. To do this you will need the e-mail address or user name that you used when you registered.
If you do not receive an e-mail after following this link, you may have entered your e-mail address incorrectly, or the e-mail has been sent to your spam folder. If you have also forgotten the registered e-mail address, please contact the person responsible for SBB Businesstravel at your company.
The password must contain at least one number and one letter (no accents).
The password should not include your user name.
No, it is not possible to change the user name.
You can only change your password online at the SBB Ticket Shop Business or using the app:
Online: "My account" – "Change password".
App: "More" – "Settings" – "Change user information".
However, for security reasons the stored means of payment will automatically be deleted when the password is changed.
To buy a MobileTicket, you need:
A smartphone with the SBB Mobile Business app (this can be downloaded free of charge from the iTunes App Store or the Google Play Marketplace).
First-time registration in the SBB Ticket Shop Business.
You can purchase MobileTickets in three ways:
Under "Tickets" in the SBB Mobile Business app you will find the range of tickets that can be bought.
Under "Timetable" you can launch the ticket purchasing process for your selected journey by pressing the "Price/purchase" button at the top right of the screen.
Under "Favourites" you will find the departure points and destinations you have searched for most frequently. You can launch the ticket purchasing process directly via this function.
You must purchase your MobileTicket before the departure of the mode of transport.
Purchased MobileTickets are stored under “Tickets” – “Show Tickets”. Should a purchased MobileTicket not be displayed, you can call it up again under “Show tickets” – “Update tickets”. You will also find the tickets you have purchased in PDF format in the SBB Ticket Shop Business in the “My orders” section. You can also print out this ticket.
Tip: When the app is running, you can simply shake your smartphone gently and the last ticket purchased will be displayed immediately.
You can check whether the transaction was successful by selecting "Tickets" in the SBB Mobile Business app. If your ticket is listed there, the purchase has been successfully completed. If the ticket you have just purchased is not listed, select "Update tickets". If the ticket you purchased is not displayed, the purchase could not be completed and your payment card has not been debited.
The SBB Businesstravel account through which you are authorised to make bookings has a payment method assigned to it. In most cases a credit card is the registered payment method. When paying for MobileTickets, information about the specific credit card may be required. For selected customers, there is the option of receiving an invoice to pay by direct debit from a post office or bank account.
If the MobileTicket ordered is not displayed under "Tickets", the booking has not worked and your account has not been debited.

Your company's travel manager or account manager receives a statement listing all orders every 14 days.
You can print out an expenses receipt for MobileTickets. After logging in to SBB Ticket Shop Business select "My account" and then "My orders". All your purchased tickets are here, including MobileTickets. Select the desired MobileTicket and click on the "Expenses receipt” link.
From 1 January 2013, VAT invoices for services purchased through SBB Businesstravel (online and mobile) will no longer be sent by post. Instead, you can easily access these electronically in SBB Businessmanager.
The travel manager or invoice centre manager receives a notification in the Businessmanager task list as soon as the receipts are ready. The following quick guide shows you how easy it will be to view VAT receipts in the future:
Log on to SBB Businessmanager.
Select "VAT" in the left-hand navigation.
Available invoices will be shown by cost centre.
OnlineTickets also count as VAT receipts. They can be downloaded as follows:
Log into SBB Ticket Shop Business.
Your tickets are listed under "My orders".
Click on "Select" to view the details of individual orders.
If you wish to change your payment method, log in to the SBB Ticket Shop Business (online) using your password and go to "My account" – "Payment information". If you are retaining your payment method but wish to update the details, you can also do this in the SBB Mobile Business app under "Settings" – "Change user information" – "Payment method". After entering your password you can adapt the payment options.
MobileTickets may only be used in conjunction with a valid official identity document (passport or ID card) bearing the passenger's name. Half-Fare and GA travelcard holders need only show their travelcard as proof of identity.
MobileTickets are only valid for 1 day. This applies to single and return trips. If you do not intend to make the return journey on the same day, please purchase a single ticket for each leg of the journey.
Please note that regional travel system tickets carry time restrictions.
Subsequent changes or exchanges are not possible.
As a rule, MobileTickets cannot be purchased more than 30 days in advance
There is a special refund process for tickets purchased via the SBB Mobile Business app.
We advise you only to order MobileTickets shortly before you travel. The refund fee is 10 francs.
No. MobileTickets are personal and non-transferable. When tickets are checked you must therefore show a personal ID (passport, identity card). Half-Fare and GA travelcard holders need only show their travelcard as proof of identity.
MobileTickets can be displayed only on the device on which the purchase process was completed. You cannot forward MobileTickets via SMS, e-mail, etc.
All data is transmitted in encrypted form (SSL) and is used exclusively for issuing and transmitting tickets.
