EasyRide makes travelling by train even easier and even less of a hassle. EasyRide detects the route you have travelled and automatically charges you for the correct ticket. It takes into account the travelcards on your SwissPass, such as your Half Fare Travelcard or regional travelcards, and automatically calculates zone upgrades.

• Activate EasyRide in the SBB Mobile app.
• Check in before your journey with a swipe from left to right.
• Get on, change as often as you like and check out again when you reach your destination. This way, you can travel by train, Postbus, boat and urban transport, as much as you like. The EasyRide ticket is valid across the entire GA Travelcard network.
• EasyRide detects the route you have travelled and automatically charges you for the correct ticket. EasyRide takes into account your SwissPass travelcards, such as the Half Fare Travelcard or regional travelcards, and also automatically includes zone upgrades.
• If, at the end of the day, the value of the journey exceeds the price of a Day Pass, for example, you will be charged the lower fare.
• If you forget to check out, EasyRide reminds you to do so.

EasyRide can be used on the entire GA Travelcard network in Switzerland, including on boats and the ZVV nighttime network (with surcharge).

• You will need a valid SwissPass login, with which you have logged in to the app.
• You will need a functioning smartphone with a touchscreen and operating system Apple iOS 11.1 (or above) or Android 5.0 (or above).
• Your smartphone must have a working SIM card that enables the transmission of data. We recommend using EasyRide on a smartphone contract with a data flat rate.
• You will need a valid payment method. You can choose between monthly invoice, TWINT, Reka, a credit card or a PostFinance Card.
• If the device has been jailbroken or rooted, EasyRide will not work. 

When you are checked in, EasyRide receives and sends approximately 1MB per hour.

• When you register for EasyRide, your SwissPass personal data and the stored payment data are saved. During the journey, the app records your location and activity data to determine the route based on motion sensors. 
• The recording of your travel data starts when you check in to EasyRide and ends minutes after completion of the checkout process.
• Your data will never be passed on to third parties and will be stored in accordance with Swiss data protection regulations.
