Do you have a question about the Night GA Travelcard? On this page, you can find out about the Night GA Travelcard, which replaced seven25 and Track 7: how to buy it, where it is valid and how to renew it.
Offer.
The Night GA Travelcard is ideal if you are aged under 25 and are often on the move in the evenings. Because the Night GA Travelcard lets you enjoy unlimited travel in 2nd class on SBB trains, most other railways and many other public transport services in Switzerland from 7pm to 5am (on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays until 7am) – as if you had a GA Travelcard.
The Night GA Travelcard is available on the SwissPass.
The area of validity for the Night GA Travelcard corresponds to that of the GA Travelcard.
The Night GA Travelcard is valid for one year from its first day of validity.
Yes. If you turn 25 while your Night GA Travelcard is valid, you can continue to use it until the end of the period of validity. However, you cannot buy a Night GA Travelcard after your 25th birthday.
Until you turn 25, you can buy the Night GA Travelcard for one year for CHF 99. The Night GA Travelcard is available for the 2nd class.
Please note that the Night GA Travelcard will be available from 1 June 2023. Purchase will be possible from 1 May 2023.
First-time purchase online.
When purchasing online, the most important thing is your customer number in the format 000-000-000-0. If you have or had a SwissPass or a public transport travelcard in the last five years, you can find this number on your SwissPass card and use it to purchase your Night GA Travelcard online.
If you used to have a travelcard but have forgotten the customer number, you can find out what it is by going to a public transport point of sale or phoning the SBB Contact Center on 0848 44 66 88 (CHF 0.08/min.).
First-time purchasing online with an identity check.
If you do not yet hold a travelcard or a SwissPass, you can still buy your new Night GA Travelcard online. If you are buying a travelcard for the first time, we need to verify your identity. This identity check takes place online – you will need your passport or ID card and a smartphone with a camera. You will also need a recent, high-quality, digital passport photo.
Online purchase with an identity check is not possible for other persons.
You may also want to know: if you wish to buy the Night GA Travelcard for your children, you can do so, as long as you and your child hold SwissPass cards with a linked SwissPass login. To buy for your child, select Purchase a travelcard for another person during the purchasing process.
Note: a SwissPass login is linked with SBB.ch if the customer number is stored in your profile on SBB.ch. After signing in, click on your initials, then on Profile and then on Update details in the Personal details tile. If the customer number is displayed in the form 000-000-000-0, it means it is linked.
Purchase at a staffed public transport point of sale.
Of course, you can also purchase the Night GA Travelcard at a staffed public transport point of sale. Please bring your SwissPass (if you have one), a recent analogue or digital passport photo and your passport/ID card. If you are purchasing for another person, then please bring the documents for this person (e.g. for your child).
If you wish to renew your Night GA Travelcard after it expires, you can buy a new travelcard. The Night GA Travelcard is not renewed automatically. Before your current Night GA Travelcard expires, we will inform you about how you can renew it.

Seven25 with trains arriving after 5am/7am with NO stops
HelloI have a seven25 card and the documents dont really specify something neither have I seen it here get asked, besides thisLink opens in new window. Let's say there is a train from Geneva to Zurich with NO stops, departs at 5:42 and reaches the destination at 8:28. Its weekend so the validity is until 7am. Is this valid for my card? Do I need to buy a ticket? Do I buy additional ticket from the nearest station that reaches at 7am until Zurich? Let's say Bern-Zurich. Or because I departed within the validity and there are no stops, I don't need anything extra and the card is valid? Or maybe I am not even supposed to take this train because the first stop (and final) is after 7am and I will get finedThank you
Hi @ybggLink opens in new window. Until a few years ago, it was possible to board a train that left a station before 05:00 AM; the ticket from the previous day, valid until 05:00 AM, remained valid as long as one stayed on the same train despite the fact the ticket expired during the journey (at 05:00 AM). Thus, it was possible to board a train in Geneva at 04:59 and to travel with the expired ticket to St. Gallen provided the passenger remained on the train until St. Gallen. This rule was changed some time ago.Nowadays, your seven25 is valid to the last stop before 05:00 AM / 07:00 AM. Therefore, you must buy a ticket from the last stop before 05:00 AM or 07:00 AM respectively.Examples:If you board a train on a weekeend at 06:45 while the next stop is at 07:15, you must buy a ticket from the place the train is leaving at 06:45. If you continue without an additional ticket, or intend to buy a ticket from the station where the train stops at 07:15, you are considered a passenger without valid ticket. If the train departs in Bern at 04:30 service nonstop to Zurich, you need a ticket for the entire journey Bern-Zurich as your seven25 is not valid.Best regards, Roland
Hi there, I have a seven25 and it is valid until 13.12.2022. I would like to know if I can still take a train after 19h on 13.12.2022, that arrives before 5am on 14.12.2022? i.e. Can I still take a train that leaves 23h on 13.12.2022 and arrives 00:30h on 14.12.2022 with my seven25? Thank you very much
Good afternoon,The other day I was on the train, and I thought I had seven25 activated because I made the payment through the BCV and confirmed it, but it turns out that it wasn't done correctly. The thing is, it turns out that I didn't have the seven25 and when the reviewer came, and I showed him my swisspass in all safety, he informed me that there was nothing there. I didn't understand it, but talking to a friend she told me that she too had wanted to make a payment from the SBB with the BCV and had had to do it twice because the first time she hadn't received the confirmation that she had paid. So, when the fine arrived at home I wasn't surprised but hurt. Because, as I have already explained, I thought that I did have the seven25.However, I paid for it by scanning the qr code, but I have not received a confirmation. So I was wondering if I really paid or not, because I would not like the fine to be multiplied because I really did pay.I hope you understand, thank you very much.Núria Guanyabens
Hi @nuriaguanyabenLink opens in new window. That's indeed unfortunate. On this platform we are unable to verify if your seven25 has been paid. A quick call (0848 00 11 33) will get you the necessary clarification. The colleagues in charge are able to inform you if both invoices were paid, the subscription itself as well as the surcharge due to missing subscription.Best regards,Roland
