Do you often go on excursions with public transport in your free time? Combine the Leisure Travelcard with the Half-Fare Travelcard and enjoy 20 or 30 days of unlimited travel per year on all SBB trains and most other railways as well as trams, buses, postbuses and boats.
The Leisure Travelcard:
is available exclusively on the SwissPass.
is valid only in combination with a Half Fare Travelcard.
is valid on the GA area of validity. You can purchase connecting tickets at a reduced fare when you use the Half Fare Travelcard.
is personal and non-transferable.
cannot be deposited.
The price of the Leisure Travelcard depends on which version you purchase (20 or 30 days, 1st or 2nd class). You can find the current prices on the page dedicated to the Leisure Travelcard.

You can activate your leisure days, which are free for you to choose, in your account on swisspass.chLink opens in new window. or at the counter before your journeys. If you do not yet have a SwissPass account, you can easily register at swisspass.chLink opens in new window.. On an activated leisure day, your travelcard will be valid for travel from midnight until 5am the following day.
Activated leisure days may be deactivated at your account on swisspass.chLink opens in new window. before the start of validity, at the latest by 23.59 on the previous day.
With the 2nd class Leisure Travelcard, you may use to purchase route-related class upgrades at a reduced price as well as 1-day class upgrades.
Unused leisure days are forfeited and cannot be carried over to the following year. Any partial refund is dependent on the number of days already used.
Yes. For the refund, CHF 75 (2nd class) or CHF 127 (1st class) is deducted for each leisure day that has been used, which corresponds to the price of a Day Pass for the Half Fare Travelcard. You receive the remaining amount minus the customary deductible of 10 Swiss francs.
