When one of our flagship trains pulls into the station, it is not just a piece of Swiss railway history but also a train providing an impressive setting for enjoyable shared journeys.

“Train now arriving at platform 6 is the Red Arrow «Churchill». This special event train is due to depart at 17:05. We wish you a pleasant round trip and many congratulations to the happy couple.” Whenever you hear this announcement at a station, it is referring to one of our organised events by train. The Red Arrow “Churchill”, a vintage SBB train, will pick up you and your guests for a pleasant round trip along the most picturesque Swiss railway lines and through impressive landscapes. While you relax and celebrate to the sound of music coming from the loudspeakers, our railway catering staff will serve you a dinner on the train from the on-board kitchen. The Red Arrow «Churchill» is a fantastic place to celebrate and you and your guests can even sit in the driver’s cab to watch the driver at work or catch a glimpse of the line.

This is just one possible example of how you and your guests can celebrate together after the wedding. Our selection of carriages and trains meets a wide range of requirements – for weddings, birthdays or family celebrations.

For an event on a train it is possible to attach individual saloon coaches exclusively for you to a train running according to the normal timetable in Switzerland or to put together a special event train with saloon or sitting carriages. For special event trains or vintage stock such as the Red Arrow “Churchill”, we draw up an individual timetable together with you. Our modern “Le Salon de Luxe” saloon coaches that are otherwise used for presentations, seminars and workshops or special meetings – and that even Swiss Federal Councillors are fond of using when travelling to special events with foreign guests of state – can be individually furnished and decorated to meet special requirements. We would also be happy to schedule an extra stop along the way and organise suitable activities for you as a framework programme.

As the right catering forms part of every event, it goes without saying that we also organise this on our carriages and trains according to your individual requirements. Whether you require coffee and croissants, a traditional three-course menu or a luxurious gourmet dinner, our caterers will enjoy spoiling you and your guests during the trip.
