The UNESCO Biosphere Entlebuch is home to a large number precious moor habitats. Their animal inhabitants possess fascinating survival tricks. Together with an expert guide, tap into the secrets of the moorlands.
Participants will experience the moorlands close up and enjoy special culinary ‘moor-sels’ before heading back at the end of the day. With an expert, you will roam through the moor and become familiar with this unique habitat. Moors are among the rarest and most valuable natural habitats in Switzerland. In the UNESCO Biosphere Entlebuch, there are a total of 46 high-altitude moors and transitional moors, as well as 68 low-altitude moors of national importance.
