Travel to Milan and let yourself be enchanted by the celebrations, markets and lights.

In honour of Saint Ambrose, the patron saint of Milan, the “Oh Bej! Oh Bej!” traditional Christmas market will be held at Sforza Castle from 7 to 10 December. And from 11 December to 8 January, you can take a pleasant stroll through the Christmas market in the Piazza del Duomo, which transforms the fashion capital of Milan into a festive village.

Christmas time in Milan is also important to opera enthusiasts. As well as Saint Ambrose, the “Prima della Scala” will also be celebrated, heralding in the new opera season at the world-famous La Scala. This year will see Mario Martone perform a brand-new version of “Andrea Chénier” by Umberto Giordano.

The “Villagio delle Meraviglie” in then “Indro Montanelli” gardens is completely dedicated to children. In this winter wonderland, the little ones can go ice skating, play with elves and tell Santa Claus what they want for Christmas.

Go and see for yourself and enjoy the festive season in Milan.
