The retrospective at the Fondation Beyeler brings together numerous important paintings spanning all of the legendary artist’s creative periods and highlights the ambiguity of his image compositions.
Outward journey: from Basel SBB station by tram no. 2, direction “Badischer Bahnhof” to “Messeplatz”, change to tram no. 6, direction “Riehen Grenze” to “Fondation Beyeler”. Duration around 25 minutes. Or take a direct train connection from Basel SBB station to Riehen, then 5 minutes on foot.
Suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs.
Daily, 10 a.m.–6 p.m.
Wednesdays, 10 a.m.–8 p.m.
Admission prices are reduced on-site on Wednesdays from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. (except on public holidays).
