Experience heaven on earth – at the Benedictine Monastery in Engelberg.

Built in 1120, the Benedictine Monastery is the heart of Engelberg. Around 30 monks still live and work here today. Engelberg itself is also worth a visit and is home to the largest church organ in Switzerland, an impressive monastery library, the Valley Museum, a show dairy and a manor house.
