Discover the smallest town in Switzerland: Werdenberg has just 60 inhabitants and is enchanting with its well preserved medieval houses.
Werdenberg Castle, above the fortress town of the same name in the St. Gallen Rhine Valley, is one of the few remaining medieval wooden residential structures in Europe of urban character. The group of buildings from the 13th century also comprises a bistro and two museums. These tell the 800-year-old story of the rulership and it subjects.
