Discover numerous indigenous animals in Lange Erlen on the edge of Basel.

The zoo in Basel’s Lange Erlen leisure area was founded in 1871 and is home to deer, chamois, European bison, lynxes, wild cats, foxes and wild boar. The discovery farm is home to woolly pigs, ponies, donkeys, goats and rabbits. Observe swans, geese and ducks on the ponds. And at the end there is a carousel ride waiting for the youngest visitors.
