To the timetable

At the edge of the city of Basel, discover a variety of indigenous animals at Lange Erlen Zoo.

The zoo in Basel’s Lange Erlen recreation region, was founded in 1871 and is home to deer, chamois, bison, lynxes, feral cats, foxes and wild boar. The discovery farm is home to woolly pigs, ponies, donkeys, goats and rabbits. Observe swans, geese and ducks on the ponds. And at the end there is a carousel ride waiting for the youngest visitors.
