Tyrannosaurus rex, the king of the terrifying lizards, the incarnation of evil – this is the image we have in our heads of the T. rex as the most famous of all dinosaurs. But what was it really like? You will find out in the special exhibition at the Natural History Museum Bern.

12 metres long and weighing of up to 9 tons, it was one of the largest carnivorous dinosaurs. Also, it was one of the biggest predators living on land that has ever existed on earth. In the “T. rex” exhibition, you will see lifelike reproductions of these and other fascinating dinosaurs for the first time in Switzerland. You also obtain a unique overview of all dinosaurs that lived in our region in the Mesozoic.
