You’ve never seen our planet like this before. Director and producer Duncan Copp has stitched together stunning high-definition images from NASA missions to create a poetic, awe-inspiring portrait of our Earth. To accompany these images, the City Light Symphony Orchestra perform Richard Strauss’ world-famous epic tone poem ‘Also sprach Zarathustra’.

The Earth – our blue planet – is also the focus of the musical events in the second half of the concert.

Daniel Craig returns as James Bond 007 to the KKL Lucerne. In ‘Skyfall’, directed by Sam Mendes, Bond is up against the scrupulous cyber terrorist and former MI6 agent Silva. The hunt for Silva takes Bond from Istanbul to Macau and London, right the way up to the Scottish Highlands.

The City Light Symphony Orchestra plays the gripping score by composer Thomas Newman while the spy thriller ‘Skyfall’ is shown on the big screen.

Daniel Craig returns as the inimitable 007. His mission is to infiltrate a mysterious criminal organisation called Spectre. This race against time takes him from Mexico City and the ancient streets of Rome to the snow-covered mountains of Switzerland and North Africa.

While director Sam Mendes’ tense secret agent thriller plays out on the big screen, the 80-piece City Light Symphony Orchestra perform the film score as composed by Thomas Newman. This is James Bond action at its very best!

The story of Monsieur Mathieu and his work with challenging boys conquered the hearts of millions of cinema-goers in 2004. Be charmed by the French-Swiss hit film ‘Les Choristes’ (‘The Chorus’), the voices of the Lucerne Boys Choir and the Oscar-nominated music by Bruno Coulais, performed by the 50-piece City Light Symphony Orchestra, in the concert hall of the KKL Lucerne!
