The Fondation Pierre Gianadda in Martigny presents the works of Gustave Caillebotte, born in Paris in 1848, a major water sports enthusiast.

With dynamic touches and a palette full of nuances bathed in gentle light, Gustave Caillebotte painted images of the Seine or Yerres which often show oarsmen. A passionate gardener, he gives a vibrant touch to the world of flowers which will light up the exhibit walls of the Fondation like a bonfire.
