Travel route: Zermatt–St. Moritz–Lugano–Lucerne (or the reverse).

1st day: individual rail journey from the place of residence to Zermatt. Overnight stay with breakfast.

2nd day: journey on the Glacier Express panorama coach from Zermatt to St. Moritz: a day travelling through unspoilt mountain countryside, deep gorges and lovely valleys, through 91 tunnels and across 291 magnificent bridges to sophisticated St. Moritz. Overnight stay with breakfast.

3rd day: travel on the Bernina Express train via the UNESCO World Heritage route: Bernina, Poschiavo, then through Brusio – the open turning loop is one of the most photographed features on the route – to Tirano (Italy). There you board the Bernina Express bus and travel through the Veltlin to Italy and on to Lugano. Overnight stay with breakfast.

4th day: journey on the Gotthard Panorama Express in 1st class in your reserved seat: first by train to Flüelen and from there by motorboat or steamboat to Lucerne. Overnight stay with breakfast. 

5th day: Individual return rail journey from Lucerne to the place of residence, or an extended stay.
