You are entitled to purchase an Interrail pass if you reside in a European country or in a country belonging to the Commonwealth of Independent States (former Soviet Union).
The Interrail Global Pass is also valid for an outward and return journey on the route from your place of residence to the border/airport/international train’s departure point.
The advance booking period is 11 months.

There is a discounted Youth Pass available for young people (12 to 27 years) in 1st and 2nd class. The first day of validity for the ticket must be at least one day before the holder’s 28th birthday.
Children aged three and under can travel for free and do not require an Interrail pass. During the tourist season, you may be asked to place your child aged three and under on your lap.
Children aged between four and eleven years can travel for free with a Child Pass. Children must be accompanied by at least one person with an Adult Pass at all times and a maximum of two children may travel per adult. The accompanying adult does not need to be a family member; they can be any person over 18 years.
Children travelling alone (four to twelve years) require an Interrail Youth Pass.
There is a discounted senior pass available for senior travellers aged 60 and over in 1st and 2nd class.
