Above the castle of St. Maurice, the water has tunnelled its way into the mountain, winding its way below the rock for more than half a kilometre. Discover the source of the legend of La Grotte aux fées (the Fairy's Cave), follow the 68 turns of the stream, be enchanted by the little underground lake and by the 80-metre-high waterfall. Every year the works of the greatest illustrators and draughtsmen are displayed in the castle. At these exhibitions, animated vampires, fantasy characters and interactive animation activities captivate young and old alike. The grotto is open every day from mid-March to mid-November.
