Do you often travel the same route and use urban public transport such as S-Bahn trains, trams and buses at your departure point or destination? Then the Modular Travelcard offers flexible combinations of zones and routes. You might call it the door-to-door travelcard. The price is composed of the discounted Point-to-Point Travelcard and the Regional Travelcard.
Unique combination of routes and fare network zones in one travelcard. Ideal for commuter routes from door to door, from door to station or from station to door.
When you buy a 1-year Point-to-Point Travelcard, you pay for just nine months but can travel for twelve months.
Children and young people aged at least 6 and under 25 get an additional discount on the travelcard price.
With the Point-to-Point Travelcard, you can travel spontaneously at any time on the covered routes and zones, without having to worry about buying a ticket.
If the entire excursion route for a leisure experience is included in your Modular Travelcard, you get up to 50% off the offer.
A Modular Travelcard is a Point-to-Point Travelcard which is combined with a Regional Travelcard at one or both ends of the point-to-point route. The following combinations are possible:
This combination includes travel on local public transport in the zone(s) at both the departure point and destination, as well as the point-to-point train route. So you can use local public transport in both places.
Example: Point-to-Point Travelcard for Lucerne–Zug, plus Zone 10 in the Passepartout fare network (Lucerne) and Zone 610 in the Zug fare network (Zug).
So, for example, the commuter route from Kriens to Lucerne railway station, the train journey to Zug and the onward journey to Zug, Kolinplatz is covered with one Modular Travelcard.
This combination includes travel on local public transport in the zone at the departure point or destination, as well as the train route from A to B. So you can use local public transport in this place.
Example: Sargans–Chur, incl. Transreno Zone 150 (Chur).
So, for example, the commuter route with the train journey from Sargans to Chur and the onward journey to Haldenstein, Rheinbrücke is covered with one Modular Travelcard. The same Modular Travelcard is also valid for the return commuter route.
