Your personal garden in Zurich Enge station.

In May 2018, SBB created a small raised-bed garden complete with seating arrangements right next to platform 2 at Zurich Enge station: a colourful eye-catcher even in winter.

Urban gardening is very popular at any time of year. At the moment, winter lettuce, various types of cabbage, and edible violets are lending a dash of colour to the daily routine. Harvesting welcome! And beneath the soil, flower bulbs are already hidden, just waiting for March and the springtime sun to burst into bloom.

It is very important to SBB that you feel comfortable in and around the station. Therefore SBB provides clean stations with sufficient seating areas and good lighting and climatic conditions. Plants and trees create better air and a pleasant environment – come see for yourself.
