Smart information displays (SID).
Smart information displays (SID) are informative touchscreens and show you all the information about a particular station.

Smart information displays (SID) are interactive pillars with touch screens – you will find them at many small and medium-sized stations. The pillars show you all the information that you used to be able to find in printed form at the station, for example, the timetable posters showing the departures and arrivals, or the route network maps.
In addition, the pillars inform you in real time about the next departures and any timetable changes due to current disruptions or planned road works.
Accessibility.
The displays on the pillars switch to accessible at the touch of a button:
- The font is enlarged.
- The amount of information is reduced to the bare minimum.
- The contrast is reversed (white text on black background).
- You can have all the relevant information read out to you at the touch of a button.
- You can lower the information and navigation elements to sitting height so that you can easily operate the touch screen from your wheelchair.
