How to purchase tickets in future.

The new user interface makes buying tickets even more intuitive.

Homepage.

Ticket purchasing will now mainly be carried out via the timetable selection, in a similar way to SBB mobile and SBB.ch.

  • Choice of language: The user interface is available in four languages.
  • The four most frequently selected destinations appear as fast-selection tiles.
  • Four products are also available for fast selection.
  • The ‘Other tickets and offers’ button leads to more products.
  • Dark mode can be selected bottom left.

Timetable.

Once a connection has been selected, the next departures are shown.

  • Change time: To view later/earlier connections, you can scroll down or change the search by clicking on the ‘Change time’ button.
  • The price ‘from CHF’ (basic setting 2nd class Half Fare Travelcard) are displayed to enable easy, initial price comparison.
  • Detailed timetable information is available and can be displayed by clicking on the train connection.

Ticket options.

The selection of a connection is followed by the ticket options:

  • Single/return: The single option is always pre-selected.
  • 2nd class/1st class: 2nd class is always pre-selected.
  • Half Fare Travelcard/full price: The full price option is always pre-selected.
  • 'Deux adultes et un enfantChienVélo add': Passengers/dogs/bicycles can be added or changed here.

After individually changing the ticket options, you can switch to the payment screen via the ‘Buy ticket’ button.

Payment screen.

A summary shows which services have to be paid for. If payment methods are not accepted or not available, they are crossed out.

Product selection – other tickets and offers.

Once the ‘Other tickets and offers’ button has been pressed on the homepage, the selection of the various product categories appears:

  • Dog and bike offers
  • International tickets (Baden-Württemberg ticket)
  • Multiple-journey cards
  • P+Rail (1-day parking ticket)
