The P+Rail app works with the SwissPass login. If you already have one, for example, for SBB Mobile or SBB.ch, you can use this to register.
If you do not yet have a SwissPass login you have to register so that your vehicle registration number can be checked at the P+Rail facility and the parking fee can be charged via the means of payment you have saved.
No. As with all parking tickets, you are entitled to park with the P+Rail app but there is no guarantee of a parking space being free.
You can currently buy parking tickets for around 380 facilities throughout Switzerland. New P+Rail facilities are constantly being added.
Yes. You can store several registration numbers in the menu under “Edit registration plate number”.
You can pay for your parking tickets with Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Postfinance Card and Diners Club. You can also pay in the P+Rail app with payment methods saved in SBB Mobile and vice versa. (Exceptions: payment on invoice and Reka.).
Yes. You can park from one hour to a maximum of seven days.
No. You can pay for individual hours or between one and a maximum of seven days via the P+Rail app.
You can buy parking tickets up to a maximum of seven days in advance.
After you have bought your parking ticket a receipt is sent to the e-mail address saved on your profile. You will find a summary of your parking tickets on the menu under “My car park tickets”.
Staff check whether you have a valid parking ticket by searching for your registration number on their mobile devices.
Yes. You can buy a parking ticket using the same account at the same facility or a different one.
All parking tickets purchased can be viewed on the home screen of the P+Rail app during their validity period, and subsequently on the menu under “My car park tickets”.
Yes. You can extend current parking tickets up to a maximum of 7 days’ validity at any time.
