Ready for service! Try out the new on-board catering concept, SBB Catering 3.0.
A new concept for new customer requirements.
On-board catering has changed dramatically over the decades. While on-board catering was very much the preserve of the social elite during the early days, technical progress and innovations made it possible to offer all passengers affordable meals on longer journeys from the 1950s onwards. However, train journeys have become shorter and shorter, our customers’ eating habits have changed and catering services in stations have become increasingly important. The time was therefore ripe for a rethink of on-board catering for the new generation and to enhance catering by adding a true hallmark of gastronomy: hospitality! Welcome to the new SBB Catering 3.0!
You can recognise the trains equipped with SBB Catering 3.0 by the “New Catering” symbol on the dining car.
Our SBB catering 3.0 concept will continue to feature our coffee partner StarbucksLink opens in new window., already a much-loved and well-known name in on-board catering.
