You can transport your bicycle on trains and on most public transport services for one calendar day for just CHF 15. You must load and unload the bike yourself.
Bike Day Passes are not class-specific and are valid in 1st and 2nd class. However, you must have a valid ticket or travelcard in the relevant class for yourself.
The Bike Day Pass is also available as a ticket requiring validation for use on six days of your choice. The Multiple Day Bike Pass is transferable and can therefore be used by several people who wish to take their bicycles with them. To do this, you validate one field per person per day. The Multiple Day Bike Pass can be purchased for CHF 90 at ticket machines and public transport points of sale.
Take your bike with you for free: in certain circumstances, bicycles folded up or stored in carrier bags are considered hand luggage and can be transported free of charge.
The Bike Day Pass is valid on the selected day until 5am the following day. You can find out which transport companies allow you to load your bicycle yourself in the PDF file in the column ‘T600 bike self-service’ under section 0.1 ‘Transport companies rail/bus/boat, local transport and transport associations’. If it says ‘yes’ here, you can take your bike with you.
