Are you a holder of a GA Travelcard for Youth, GA Travelcard for Children or GA Travelcard for Trainees and would like to travel around Switzerland with a companion? For just CHF 20 per day, you can take a companion along with you thanks to the Tandem Day Pass for GA Travelcard Youth. The only condition is that your companion must also be under 25.
Not going to be using your GA Travelcard for a certain period of time? Deposit your GA Travelcard on the SwissPass free of charge for a minimum of 5 days and a maximum of 30 days per travelcard year.
Generally, the GA Travelcard is valid on mountain railways that provide access to residential areas. For journeys on purely tourist-oriented mountain lifts or railways, such as to the Jungfraujoch or on the Titlis, you usually pay the reduced price if you have a GA Travelcard. For mountain lifts and railways, the GA Travelcard for Children and the GA Travelcard Familia for Children is equivalent to the Junior Travelcard. Children accompanied by a parent travel for free.

At around 130 SBB points of sale, you can change Swiss francs into currencies for over 100 countries with no fees – from early in the morning to late in the evening and also at weekends. Tip: you can also order foreign currency online at any time.
Your 1st class GA Travelcard together with a valid international ticket gives you access to the Railteam lounges of the European Railteam partners, which offer free drinks, WiFi and a separate ticket counter. Access is only valid on the day of travel (as per the date of travel on the ticket).
