If the conditions for linking the GA Travelcard are no longer met (e.g. due to cancellation of the basic GA Travelcard), the GA Travelcard for Duos will be cancelled by SBB at the end of the next travelcard month, subject to the period of notice.

Information about cancelling your GA Travelcard

Minimum contract term of six months.

All GA Travelcards have a minimum contract term of six months, regardless of whether payments are made on a monthly or an annual basis. Once this period has passed, you decide whether you would like to continue to use your travelcard or whether you would like to cancel, taking into account the notice period of one month before the end of each travelcard month.

The GA Travelcard for Duos is linked to the basic GA Travelcard. The following GA Travelcards count as basic GA Travelcards: GA Travelcard for Adults, GA Travelcard for Youth, GA Travelcard for 25 Year Olds, GA Travelcard for Seniors or GA Travelcard for Disabled Persons.

If the basic GA Travelcard held in a household is valid for 1st class, you can purchase the linked GA Travelcard for Duos for 1st or 2nd class, depending on preference. If the basic GA Travelcard is valid for 2nd class, the linked GA Travelcard for Duos can only be purchased for 2nd class.

If the conditions for linking the GA Travelcard are no longer met (e.g. due to cancellation of the basic GA Travelcard), the GA Travelcard for Duos will be cancelled by SBB at the end of the next travelcard month, subject to the period of notice.
