Two scavenger hunts, each offering plenty of variety, using public transport in Zug.
In the “Family” and “Enjoyment & Culture” Public Transport Puzzle Trail brochures, you’ll find a puzzle tour with all the information you need, as well as the coupon required to take part in the competition. The brochures are available to download here or from Zug travel centre.
You’ll need a valid public transport ticket for the scavenger hunts on public transport in the Canton of Zug. Otherwise, the Public Transport Puzzle Trail is free and you don’t have to book. If you don’t have a travelcard for public transport in the Canton of Zug, the best option is to buy a Day Pass for the integrated fare network in Zug, valid for all zones.
If you would like to participate in the competition, you’ll also need a pen and the relevant brochure.
Both routes start in Zug station concourse by the departures board at the meeting point.
You’ll find a puzzle at every stop in the competition. Solve it to find out which stop is next.
You’ll find one or more mystery letters at every stop on the Public Transport Puzzle Trail.
Copy the letters onto the competition coupon. At the end, all the letters will spell out a mystery word.
Hand in the completed coupon at Zug travel centre and take part in the monthly draw for your chance of winning a prize worth CHF 100.
All hard-working detectives will be rewarded when they hand in their coupon. You can claim your reward at the ZVB or SBB counters in Zug travel centre.
