All ICE connections within Switzerland have been replaced by SBB trains so that the ICE trains can be used for Basel SBB–Baden-Baden commuter traffic. There are no train cancellations within Switzerland as a result of this; however, different train compositions are running without dining cars and some rolling stock does not have air conditioning.
The late connection with Train 208, departure in Basel SBB at 11.13 p.m. is cancelled. Instead there is a replacement connection departing from Basel SBB already at 10.13 p.m. with change in Baden-Baden.
Loading bicycles is unfortunately not possible at this time, as Deutsche Bahn cannot guarantee that the bikes can be transported in the shuttle buses. Passengers with bicycles can be routed through Schaffhausen–Singen–Ulm.
Refunds bare possible at SBB free of charge. Only rail services purchased in Switzerland will be refunded (i.e. no hotel stays or other third-party services). In case of delays, the valid passenger rights apply.
Night trains to and from Hamburg.
The night train EuroNight/NightJet Zurich–Berlin–Hamburg is cancelled.
SBB GmbH Deutschland.
The S5/S6 lines of SBB GmbH Deutschland from Basel SBB to Weil am Rhein and to Zell im Wiesental are not affected by the route disruption. The trains are running according to the timetable.
