Key changes to the 2019 timetable for Western Switzerland.
Due to the extensive construction work, there will be a restricted timetable running until 8 p.m. on the InterRegio IR 90 long-distance services and the RegioExpress (RE Geneva–Lausanne–Vevey from Sunday to Thursday.
Due to extensive infrastructure work in the night from Sunday into Monday until Thursday into Friday, the service will be restricted, running until 8.p.m all year round.
On the route from Lancy-Pont-Rouge–Geneva–Coppet, the trains will operate every 15 minutes during the day on Monday to Friday, every half an hour at evenings and on Saturdays and every hour on Sundays.
Ten RE Biel/Bienne–Delle (F) train pairs going to Meroux (Belfort-Montbéliard TGV) will be extended daily, some of which will have a connection to the TGV lines. SNCF trains will also operate between Belfort, Meroux and Delle. With the RE trains stopping at Courfaivre and Courtételle, these stations will receive a half-hourly service alternating with the S3.
The following stops formerly served by RE trains at Versoix will be withdrawn: Lausanne–Geneva: Versoix arriving/departing at 07.26, 08.26, 01.31, 02.31 and Geneva–Lausanne: Versoix arriving/departing at 17.57, 18.57.
The Lancy-Pont-Rouge–Geneva–Coppet regional trains will operate every 15 minutes during the day on Monday to Friday, every half an hour at evenings and on Saturdays and every hour on Sundays.
The RE 3553 and 3554 will be withdrawn from Monday to Friday and replaced by buses.
The S9 timetable will be changed for two trains: 24926 will leave Murten at 08.15 instead of 08.21 and 24949 will leave Avenches at 15.37 instead of 15.30. From 23 May to 15 September 2019, the S8 trains between Palézieux and Moudon will be replaced by buses.
An additional S30 train in the evening (departing from Fribourg/Freiburg at 23.38) will now run daily instead of just on Friday and Saturday.
